Ice Cream: Banana Sherbert
5-6 Bananas
6 Tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup karo syrup
1/8 tsp salt
1 egg white beat until still but not dry
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
Mash bananas and mix with lemon juice…mix good
add sugar, karo, salt, and egg white. Heat milk…Add this mixture slowly to the milk, stiring constantly. Cook until heated to boiling. Add vanilla and stir a moment.
You can either put in ice cream maker, or you can put into trays infreezer. Stir when mixture resembles a thick mush and aain just before mixture is fromen. If done this way it take 2-3 hours.
