Pudding, Real Rice Pudding

2 cups real uncooked rice
4 cups water
little salt
2 Tablespoons oil
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup raisins if you like raisins
milk
2 tsp vanilla
take the 4 cups of water, little salt and oil and boil.
Add the rice and stir for a moment. Put a tight fitting lid on the rice, turn down the heat to low and cook covered for 22 minutes….DO NOT TAKE THE LID OFF AT ALL DURING THAT TIME

Then Stir
Add the sugar, cinnamon, and raisins, add milk to cover the rice a little and cook a few minutes. Add vanilla. You can either eat hot or put in frig and eat cold

You can use instant rice. After it is cooked add the other ingredients and cook a few…It is good, but real rice is better.
