What a Plan God Has for His Children

God Has a Plan for His Children

Boy, does our heart get us into messes in life. Aren’t we called God’s handiwork, and don’t we know God is perfect? He has a plan for our life even before we were conceived in our mother’s womb. The things is we don’t always understand or try to know what it is God wants for our life. We go blinding down the road of life doing our own thing, listening to our heart, and seldom do we pick up our Bible and find out what it is God wants us to do and why. Hearts can deceive us so if you are going to listen to yours…at least pick up your Bible and read it and pray.

Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Always, act according to God’s word because God will never, ever lead you wrong.

We, humans, search for many things in our life. We go this way and that way but do we give our life to God or do we just go down the road to doing things our own way? I, for one, want to do things God’s way over what anyone wants or believes. He gave me life on earth, and I want my life in heaven with Him.

I have an eternal destiny…and so do you. Don’t you want a great one? Our life on this earth is but a vapor or an instant. But eternity is just that…eternal! Life is just temporary…but eternity is just that…eternal.

God, please move me daily closer and closer to you. Hold my hand and lead me for I sure have messed up many times in my life. I don’t want to do that any longer.

Lord, I want to walk in your truth, your ways, your timing, and I want to discover more and more of you. Help me do that. To whomever might read this bless them greatly. I know I was born for a purpose so please show me each day what to do so I get closer to that purpose.

The Birth of Jesus the Messiah
18This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. 19Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly.
20As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. 21And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
22All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet:
23“Look! The virgin will conceive a child!
She will give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel,
which means ‘God is with us.’”
24When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife. 25But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.

Oh, that precious name of my Lord Jesus. Thank you for life, and thank you for eternal life with you Lord.
