In this crazy evil world we are living in now...it sure is easy to feel fear. yet, God in His word put 365 "fear nots" in His word. One for each day of the year. God doesn't want us to go through living in fear...but we all know that when life is tough and we don't know what is going to happen...we can fall into fear.
We all go through the hardships of life at some point...but we must stay focused on Jesus all the time. He is the one who will help us get through the hardships. Sometimes He takes them away, but at other times we must go through them. We don't always understand that now do we?
I bet you have, at some point in your life, lived through some type of hardship, loss, rejection...or whatever and it was hard to deal with. After all we all want to be loved and accepted in life...but life doesn't always give us what we want.
We must learn to be honest with ourself because we won't grow in the Lord if we don't face the truth in our life and deal with it. Now is a good time. Don't put off facing the truth on whatever thing it might be.
Life is worth fighting for and seeking God is what makes our life worth living. The world is the world and couldn't really care one iota about you or what you want. People give bad advice every day of our life, but God only tells us the truth.
If you are alive (which you are if you are reading this) then be obedient to God's word. Ask Him for wisdom, strength, knowledge, and all good things to get you through life. He is our heavenly "Daddy"...and He really does know best.
Listen: If, or whatever, you are going through in your life right now stop and give it to Jesus. He understands. Don't be discouraged, and stand up for the truth of God's word. People don't, and won't always, agree with us. That's okay. The one we have to please is God. Mankind falls down a lot, but we can grow in the Lord and we can win the battles of life.
All of us fear from time to time. We live in this crazy evil world which the Lord told us would get worse and worse. Sometimes we wonder how it could get worse when we look around us all over the world. The evil is there, the hatred is there, and we don't know what tomorrow...or even today...might bring, but we know the creator and we can turn to Him to help us make it through.
Whatever is going on in your life...stop...pray...and don't be discouraged. Trust our Father in heaven for He loves us.
In the Bible God has a lot of promises for us, His children. Yet we need to look at each of the promises and each of us needs to really read the promises and do what it tells us to do. By that I mean that some promises have nothing you have to do...but many of the promises are if you do, or don't do whatever it is "then" you can claim that promise. However, know this...you must do your part in the promise.
