Pizelle Cookies
6 eggs
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup shortening
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp flavoring, anise, lemon, vanilla, almond, or your favorite
2 1/2 cups flour
beat and mix one to the next…not all at once.
Either use a Pizzelle machine and use a heaping teaspoon when the machine is hot and cook from 15-45 seconds
or
these make great cookies. Place a heaping teaspoon on cookie sheet and cook about 10-15 min…until golden at about 350 degrees
