Are You Safe? Jesus is the Anchor of our Soul
Safe from what you might ask. How many people live in fear with anxiety for just about everything they see, what they hear, where they go…and so on? MANY! We live in world of insecurities with lots of fears going on all around us. We see those who should be trying to fix our country and the world all fighting and hating and it doesn’t give us peace. But to those of us who are Christian we can find a lot of peace when we stay focused on the Lord Jesus.
God: The Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit must be our refuge in this crazy world we are living until which time we die or are taken up/rapture to spend eternity with the Lord.
In the Bible is this verse: “He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him with long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. Psalm 91:15,16”
When we really make Jesus our refuge there is no need to fear whatever happens, but we are human and fear comes because of the unknowns that come our way. However, we can stand on the Lord and know that no matter what we go through in life Jesus will be right there with us.
Oh, if we would only thank the Lord that no matter what we must face in this life good or bad…God will walk right along our journey with us. There can be many giants in our life come our way and some might be excruciating to us…but look up because no matter what is going on Jesus is right there for us. Trust Him for He loves us and He came to earth and died for us. For you and me even before we were born. That is love!
Even though as we look around the world we see so much hate, anger, violence, fraud, violence and so much more…we can still feel God’s peace in our soul even as it comes and goes from our life. God might not protect us always from the garbage of life, but if we are His then He will protect our soul.
Tell yourself each and every day that God is on your side. That even if the storms come our way and we have to face them…then trust God that whatever happens on this earth all of us who are really his (not fake Christians (will one day spend eternity with Him and all we face upon this earth…we will make it to victory).
Trusting God…walking with Him…staying focused upon Him and His truth (Bible), not compromising, and sharing Jesus no matter the cost…God will be there for us and take us over the gates right into heaven.
God keeps us daily from much evil coming our way. We don’t always see it, we don’t always see it…but do you ever wonder how many bad things could have come your way that He protected us from? I know God has gotten me to safe ground thousands of times and I thank Him with all my heart. Yes, I might face more pain and suffering in this world, but I know that one day all this life I had to face just won’t matter when I see my Lord and get to spend eternity with Him.
Let me, let you…each day we do wake up and live walk with Jesus and know that in Him our soul is safe so that no matter what goes on in our life here on earth…will one day stop and we will be safe for all eternity.
Am I safe? Are you safe? Well, my soul and your soul are if Jesus is our Lord and we actually do love Him and listen to Him.
Thank you Lord for your protection. Thank you Lord for dying for me and all those I love.
