God is Waiting on Us

jesus is waiting on us

God the Father, God the Son, and Go the Holy Spirit…my Daddy!

Are we ready to ask Him into our life and heart? I sure hope so. I know I love having Jesus in my life and I sure want Him in yours as well. Jesus is Amazing.
When I think of God the Father I think of our earthly Dad’s. We are human and because we are we mess up a lot in being a parent…mom or dad. We might try our best to get everything right, but we do mess up at times. God, however, never messes us. Earthly parents can disappoint us, lie to us, abuse us, reject us, but our Daddy in heaven loves us, and He is not going to abandon His kids.

Abba is a word in Aramaic. It means Father…but it also means Daddy! This is not a formal word in my mind, but an intimate word for calling and talking to my Daddy in heaven. I can talk to Him any time and any place and I know He lends me His ears. No, I don’t know if God has ears…it is a saying to He listens to us, His children.

When I am feeling down, rejected, lonely, or whatever the case might be…I can call out to God. “Abba, Father, Jesus, Daddy, Holy Spirit etc….and I know He is right there. Some people only want to say: Father…in Jesus name, but I can go to Him and call my Lord in heaven…Daddy!

God just wants us to have an honest relationship with Him. Don’t you like to have those you care about to have a great relationship with you, and honest relationship with you? You don’t want people lying and cheating, and being mean to you or those you love. Well, God doesn’t either.

God awaits for us to ask Him into our life…and He has given us time to do so. At some point God will say enough and the door for you could be closed from that opportunity. I say that because God knows who will, and when one will ask Him into their life. Since He knows that…He knows who won’t accept Him, yet He still has given us the opportunity anyway to change.

Even if we had great parents who loved us…all of us as such…have let our children down at times. But we are to keep trying to be good parents. We will mess up, but we are to look to God on what it means to be a good parent. He is always to be our example.

My God is always with me and I thank Him so much for that. He will be with you as well if you are his.

Psalms 4 NLT

For the choir director: A psalm of David, to be accompanied by stringed instruments.

1 Answer me when I call to you, O God who declares me innocent.
Free me from my troubles. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

2 How long will you people ruin my reputation? How long will you make groundless accusations? How long will you continue your lies?

Interlude

3 You can be sure of this: The Lord set apart the godly for himself. The Lord will answer when I call to him.

4 Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Think about it overnight and remain silent.

Interlude

5 Offer sacrifices in the right spirit, and trust the Lord.

6 Many people say, “Who will show us better times?” Let your face smile on us, Lord.

7 You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine.

8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

May God blee you, keep you safe, healthy, and at peace with Him.
