Jesus Cares For Me and For You
Well, I got up today (thank you Lord), but I didn’t “feel” God cared much for me today and that is a travesty to me. So, I have to figure this out and find why do I feel this way today. I absolutely know Jesus cares for me so why these negative dumb feelings running though my mind? I do not like this feeling.
Well, let me see if anyone else in the Bible felt this way. Yepper, they did.
The people of Israel after they crossed the Red Sea while fleeing from the Egyptians which just happened to be an absolute miracle in their life. After all…God had the sea open up so the Israelites could walk through on dry land to get away from the Egyptians. You might not believe that story but the story is true even if you don’t.
God saved the Israelites from the Egyptians who were going to either kill the Israelites or take them back to Egypt to serve them. God has the greatest power ever…but sometimes, don’t we wonder why we don’t feel it for ourselves? God wants to bring us to victory in our life, but that doesn’t mean we won’t face problems in our own life or in the life of our loved ones.
Think about this: God opened a “sea” for His children to walk through in safety. God always moves our mountains (but not every time) wo we can walk through our “seas” of life that bring us down and cause us hurts in our own life.
There is no problem too big for my Jesus to help me with. Jesus, however, does not have to do things the way I think He should do them. But Jesus always does what is right even if something doesn’t fix it to our desire. Some day though maybe God will show us why He did something a certain way but He doesn’t have to tell us.
Now, back to the Red Sea Story here: After the Israelites got through and were safe the Israelites began to complain. They had just seen and been through a marvelous miracle and now they started whining. First about water…did you know that God didn’t say they would go through life and have a trouble-free life. Troubles come and go…life goes on…and we all have to adjust to what God wants from us to do.
God sees what we are going through, and knows ahead of time what we will go through. That is difficult for many of us because we don’t want to go through the “stuff” of life. However, I know that no matter how good my life is, or how bad it can get Jesus is always walking it with me.
Now…to me…God has given me many miracle’s in my life some I can’t even tell you. How many times did He keep me from some type of harm? Many…I am sure of that one.
Ok, some day all of us can feel overwhelmed with life and the craziness going on around us and around the world Our minds get overwhelmed and we don’t seem to be able to do much about any of it. How do we fix the things we see? For the most part for the most of the people we don’t seem to fix things, but all of us can pray and pray and tell others about Jesus for He is the only one who can fix us, help us, and get us through “whatever it” might be.
We don’t have to go through like the Red Sea, but we can face sickness, loss, financial ruin, bad news, and a myriad of other things, but yet we can look up and Jesus will be right there with us no matter what.
God will do what is best for me, and God will do what is best for you. We can always trust Him.
Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water. Exodus 15:22
Now think on that for a moment…God had just saved them from the Egyptians and opened the sea for them, but within three days they started whining.
So now to me today. Yes, I got up feeling discouraged or whatever I would call it. I got up and watched the news at what is going on here in America and what is going on in Israel and it breaks my heart. I know God said in these end times things would get worse and worse and they sure are worse, but not like they will be.
The hatred in this world on some days feels overwhelming. It is overwhelming. But I know God knows what is going on, how long He will allow this insanity, and how long He is letting it go on so that many can get saved. He also know the exact moment and the last person is who will say yes to Jesus. When that day comes and it could be today or a hundred years from now…that will be the day our glorious Lord shows up for His bride/the church. We all want it now, but I want more saved. I want all my family saved and serving the Lord. I can tell others of Jesus love, but I can’t make them say yes to Jesus. That is the decision each of us must make for ourself.
So……………..here I am and I felt I had to write this today. Yes, I woke up sad at what I see in this world, but I feel encouraged because Jesus is right here with me…and when I give Him my day…He gives me a peace I can’t get anywhere else. Thank you so much Lord. I surrender my day to you. I know you care and I thank you for that.
