Lord I Need Your Peace

Lord, I Need Your Peace

We wake up each day and look around the world, and we look especially look around our country, our state, and our city and it is pretty darn insane out there. There sure doesn’t feel like there is much peace in this world…and there sure doesn’t seem to be much peace in our own lives.

If you were to draw a picture and wanted it to represent peace what would you decide to draw and why? Would you draw the ocean, a mountain, a valley, flowers, birds, a river, a scene like at Christmas with snow and lights? What colors would you use in making your picture that would make you feel some peace? What picture if you look at it makes you feel a wee bit of peace?

Most people would not draw a storm…at least a violent storm. But I, personally, love to watch a storm…I just don’t want it to ever hurt anyone or destroy things…but I love to watch the storm come in. So, I guess that would be one of the ones I just might draw.

So jist of this lesson is that no matter what circumstance we might find ourselves, or how good or bad they might be…we can always find some peace in our life if we give God our day and our circumstance.

To live in the light we really need to understand that the darkness loses its power and God’s power shines out. We can, and should, always trust God in every stage of our life and circumstances.

May God bless you, keep you, and guide your path.
