Oatmeal Cookies
5 cups oatmeal
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tsp baking powder
2 or 3 eggs
2/3 – 1 cup milk, butter milk, or half and half
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 cup raisns
1 cup nuts optional
1/2 cup shortning, margarine or butter
Cream the shortning, margaine or butter…with sugar. Add beaten eggs, add mile, add all other ingredients. Cookie consistency.
Put on sprayed cookie sheet 350 degrees about 12-17 minutes until golden
