Chorizo Mexican Sausage/Good/Lynn’s

5 # good ground beef
1 # pork sausage

8 oz Santa Cruz chili paste
8 oz Santa Cruz chili powder
I had someone write in about both of my chorizo recipes. they said that they on this one used a large 16 oz can of green sauce in place of the chili paste and chili power and that it was very good. They also used green sauce in my other recipe and said that it was very good. Who knows….maybe it is wonderful and a whole new mexican dish will come about.

1 Tab salt
1 Tab garlic powder
1 Tab oregno
1 Tab pepper
2 oz red wine/1/4 cup
1/4 cup apple juice

Mix all and refrig 48 hours to age. Can then put into packages and freeze or cook

If hotter chorizo is wanted put some hot chili into it before you put in frig

Can cook for burittos with eggs, potatoes, cheese or anything you like in yours.
