Mexican Wedding Cakes
Mexican wedding cakes…also called Russian tea cakes
1 cup butter or margarine
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup chopped nuts…your choice
2/14 cup flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar to coat when done
cream butter and sugar
add flour, salt, add to creamed mixture
add vanilla and nuts
work well with hands to blend
roll into small balls and place on cooke sheet about 2 inches apart
Bake 400 degrees 14-17 min
While cookies are warm roll in powdered sugar
