Wendy type chili

2 pounds ground beef (cook and chop it up)

1 quart of tomato juice

1 29 oz can tomato puree

1 15 oz can red kidney beans

1  15 oz can pinto beans

drain the beans

1 med size onion chopped

1/2 cup celery chopped

1/4 cup diced green bell pepper

1/8 – 1/4 cup chile powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin for more real flavor (optional)

1  1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt

pepper

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

 

In a skillet, brown the ground beef and drain the fat

Put beef and all other ingredients in pot  (6 qt)

Cover pot and let simmer about hour or little longer

Stir like every 15 minutes

You can also cook in slow cooker like 4 hours

Top with cheese, onions, and serve cracker with it
